Course Description

Overview of research methods in clinical epidemiology; proposal writing; writing an analysis plan; designing a participant information sheet and an informed consent form; designing study instruments; drafting a proposal for research ethics approval; analysis of real-world data for the research project; presentation and discussion of the study findings; drafting a manuscript for publication in an academic journal

Learning Outcome

• Apply the principles of clinical epidemiology and relevant statistics for designing clinical research for health.
• Design clinical research that addresses clinical problems reflecting the learners' needs.
• Manage and analyze data that can be displayed accurately and clearly.
• Write research articles according to academic principles to be presented in academic journals.
