Course Description
Practice role of advanced midwifery in advanced health assessment, diagnosis based on health history-taking; physical examination, laboratory and special testing; health promotion and holistic health care and continuing care among reproductive women, women during childbearing period, newborns, families and communities in normal and health deviations; family planning; promotion of attachment and bonding among mothers, newborns and family; premarital, pre-pregnancy, and genetic counseling; breastfeeding; evaluation and management of clinical outcomes, and ethical decision making; integration of nursing and midwifery disciplines, other related disciplines, evidence-based and innovation, philosophy of sufficiency economy, local wisdoms, complementary and alternative therapies; utilization of information and digital technology upon multicultural context; standards, legal, and professional ethics
