Course Description

German in daily life; practice of listening, speaking, reading and writing of basic sentences for beginners; and learning about German culture

Learning Outcome

• Speak in German to communicate in ordinary situations of daily life, Introduce one’s self and others and correctly ask and answer questions with simple sentences and conjunctions at a basic level.
• Pronounce the short reading passages and be able to correctly answer short questions from reading passages at a basic level.
• Answer questions about the meaning of words and short listening passages correctly.
• Write simple sentences correctly according to basic grammar principles.
• Communicate and express correctly with basic German, both in verbal and nonverbal communication.
