Production systems; capacity planning, plat location, facility layout, work study, aggregate planning, material requirement planning, inventory management, logistics and supply chain management, quality control and statistics tools, quality management system

Learning Outcome

• demonstrate comprehension of business operations and their role in manufacturing management within an organization
• identify potential problems in designing, managing, and controlling organizational operations and give suggestions for solutions and improvement
• demonstrate understanding of information sharing in a hierarchical structure from capacity planning to manufacturing and delivering products to market
• perform mathematical techniques and acquire computer software skills to solve managerial problems
