Course Description

Foundations of script writing; film techniques; picture language; storyboard sheet; pre-production stage; background and character design; editing an animatic with computer software

Learning Outcome

• Produce and manage digital assets for various production including storyboard and animation
• Develop and present ideas in both written and oral formats
• Use vector graphic and bitmap image creation skills to create storyboards and animatics
• Understand and apply storytelling principles applicable in the areas of video, short film and commercial film production
