Course Description

Health Policy, Ethics, Professional Code of Ethics and Laws, General Procedures in Pediatric Nursing, Holistic Care for Children with Acute and Chronic Illness, Nutritional Care for Children, Specific Nursing Care for Children with Acute and Chronic Illnesses, Palliative Care, Technology and Information Utilization for Improving Pediatric Nursing Care, Specific Pediatric Nursing Care for Complicated Illness, Systematic and Quality Management In Pediatric Nursing.

Learning Outcome

• Explain the health system and health policies and laws related to nursing children.
• Show behavior, morality, and ethics in caring for children, taking into account ethical principles, ethical decision-making, and professional laws.
• Perform duties as a professional nurse in the pediatric ward in accordance with the principles of pediatric nursing.
• Transfer clinical knowledge to nursing students, nursing practitioners, and nursing assistants.
• Use nursing technology and information to manage clinical data for the development of nursing quality for children, the development of organizational quality, and for the development of nursing outcomes for children with acute and chronic conditions.
