Course Description

Health policy, ethics, code of conduct, professional law, internal medicine procedures, emergency and critical care, and care for patients requiring technology, general internal medicine patient care, nursing of the elderly, nutritional care in internal medicine patients, palliative nursing and end-of-life care, teamwork and quality improvement.

Learning Outcome

• Explain health policies and laws related to nursing patients with medical problems.
• Demonstrate behavior, morality, and ethics in caring for patients with medical problems, taking into account ethical principles, ethical decision-making, and professional laws.
• Perform duties as a professional nurse in the medical ward in accordance with the principles of medical nursing.
• Transfer clinical knowledge to nursing students, nursing practitioners, and nursing assistants.
• Use nursing technology and information to manage clinical data to improve the quality of nursing care for patients with medical problems.
